  21. I have heard similar rumours about the features being hobbled, but I can
  22. tell you that the cart don't need to be present for frozen files to be
  23. re-loaded.  I have four of them and all load each others files.  The files
  24. also reload into my SX-64 which has a Final Cartridge III.

  32. Most of the AR's from V5.x on tend to use the custom chips.  This was done
  33. by Datel to force people to buy a new cart when they wanted to update to
  34. a new version instead of just buying a cheap EPROM upgrade and just popping
  35. it in.  (So I heard, anyway!)
